The Brand |

Our luxury client hosts a range of emerging and contemporary designer brands across their twenty plus stores and growing. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join them in a newly created role for a Junior Designer reporting to an inspirational and renowned Creative Director, and working in a small and dynamic design team.

The Role |
- Support the Creative Director in developing and executing a strategic vision
- Help and contributing to the management of design direction from conception to final
- styling, including contribution to the selection of fabrics, trims, silhouettes, lab dip colours, print strike offs, and patterns
- Assisting with the whole range design, across all categories, womenswear in both woven and knitwear in line with the creative direction of Creative Director and the Senior designer
- Helping with the linesheet development and presentation materials for strategy reviews including trend, colour and fabric boards
- Monitoring and follow up the sourcing and development of fabrics, embroidery, trims and sample requests with external vendor/factories
- Attend all fit sessions from first fit to production samples’ ensuring that product is technically executed to the highest standard and of commercial fit
- Strong communication skills with factories to achieve positive results in the development phase

The Skillset |
- 3+ years minimum womenswear industry experience
- Knowledge on seasonal trends and market responses would be advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge of Woven and knitwear construction and materials with strong colour and print sense
- On-site working arrangements
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills and range development experience
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple deadlines
