An exciting SaaS product company disrupting the automotive industry is looking for a hands on Development Team Lead to conceptualise, design, build and deliver IT software solutions and a highly scale-able technical product using Next.js, React, NestJS and Node, working with AWS, micro services and server-less architecture.

This role would suit a Principal Engineer or Solution Architect looking to move into an official team leadership position, someone who enjoys actively searching for ways to enhance efficiency, increase automation and find solutions by working closely with their offshore development team.

Experience in stakeholder management, system architecture and operational delivery of a product is crucial, enabling you to provide design insights to internal and external stakeholders with ease. The role will keep you busy across many areas - evaluating current IT enterprise ERP and CRM solutions, enhancing platform features or simplifying a complex product build to enable the development team to meet strict timeline requirements more efficiently.

In return we are looking for:
Proven track record as a Product Principal Engineer/ Development Lead in a scaling/start-up environment, ideally within a Fin tech OR experience within the automotive industry
Experience Next.js/React, NestJS/Node, MYSQL and AWS, micro services and server-less architecture.
Salesforce experience or in a similar ERP
Ability to identify, design and implement technical solution architecture, security, development, testing, release, and maintenance of technology systems for all product streams (inc. CRM, ERP and contract management systems) and customer platforms (inc. web, mobile and admin solutions)
Ability to effectively engage, influence, and manage competing stakeholder expectations
Ability to effectively forecast and accurately track the output of the teams, making
adjustments where necessary to maximise efficiencies and output
Proven leadership capability with experience in building and managing teams (combination of outsourced & in-house resources) with the ability to work at pace and within an environment that can at times be ambiguous

A current product owner certification, CSPO or equivalent is desirable
Tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in computer science or information systems OR significant experience
Someone based in Sydney, who enjoys a WFH/Office hybrid model with no work visa restrictions
