Belong at Home (CHC) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and solutions-focused person to join our team.
Belong at Home is a highly respected not-for-profit local organisation, providing a range of services to older people and their carers throughout the South West of WA, with offices in Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Collie, Donnybrook and Bridgetown. This role is based at our Bunbury site.
As a key member of the Bunbury team, you will have excellent communication skills, an empathetic attitude and understanding of older people and be solution focused. This role includes a combination of transport scheduling and administrative tasks where multi-tasking is essential for this service team.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- **Scheduling**_
- Timely, accurate and compliant scheduling of services for Transport with additional support for daily cancellations/changes of services where required to support the team.
- Support of staff and volunteers, to ensure service delivery is high quality, safe and dependable.
- Represent Belong at Home positively and professionally at all times;
- Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement ideas and initiatives;
- Allocate vehicles to both volunteers & staff if relevant to service.
- **Administrative**_
- Confidential and secure client file management as per Belong at Home policy
- Follow up, accept and process client payments
- Reconcile petty cash
- Regular communication to stakeholders by phone, one on one or written
- Prompt escalation of client concerns and/or complaints and follow up of actions under the delegation of the Site Managers
**Your Skills & Experience**
- Experience in Scheduling & administration position or similar is desirable
- Proficiency in using internal client management software and Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Demonstrated ability or desire to motivate and develop staff and volunteers
- Proven administration experience and data entry background
- Understanding of WHS in the workplace
- Understanding of issues relating to seniors
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet timelines
