- Be part of a progressive Melbourne Health - Aged Care Assessment team
- Based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Park campusFull Time Fixed term to 30th June 2026Melbourne Health Assessment Service is a component of the My Aged Care Assessment workforce. We are seeking Non Clinical Assessors who can undertake assessments of older people requiring access to Commonwealth funded services - Commonwealth Home Support Program. The Non Clinical Assessors sits alongside Clinical Assessors and benefit from supervision and a collaborative working environment to support best outcomes for our consumer group.

**Your new role**:
- Utilise your assessment experience to conduct holistic style assessments using a client centered approach with a focus on wellness and reablement
- Capture and document vital client information within the Integrated Assessment Tool and develop an individualised support plan underpinned by the clients' unique goals within their homes
- Develop strategies to connect people with appropriate services and supports in their community to further empower the client with their independence
- Provide kind and courteous consumer contact and support via assessments in the consumer’s home or via phone or telehealth
- Work under the supervision of a Clinical Assessor
**About you**:
- You have an interest in working with older people using strengths based approach
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate clients, families, staff, and other stakeholders with a positive approach
- Advanced IT skills with previous experience working across multiple platforms (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Previous experience performing in a KPI environment to ensure good quality client outcomes
- You have a commitment to live the Melbourne Way - putting people first, leading with kindness and achieving excellence together
- Desirable: Undertaking an undergraduate Degree in aged care/health
- Desirable: Non Clinical Assessor accreditation through MAC Learning training platform
