**The Role**
If you are a highly motivated logistics manager and an interest in assisting healthcare delivery, then this may be the position for you. In this role you will identify and manage logistics and facility issues at the eight Defence health centres across the Victoria/Tasmania region, and at the regional headquarters. Reporting to the Commanding Officer, Joint Health Unit - Victoria/Tasmania, you will need to stay ahead of issues, and ensure facilities and equipment breakdowns don't impact upon the provision of health services to Australian Defence Force personnel.

You will manage supplier accounts and work with contractors. Working within significant legislative and regulatory constraints, you will set-up and monitor system performance within the region, and be required to provide responses and reports on performance in logistics inventory management. A key part of the role is stakeholder management, and building relationships with facility managers across locations. You will be aware of issues impacting facilities, as well as developing contingencies for future possibilities.

**About our Team**
You will work for Joint Health Unit-Victoria/Tasmania, ensuring logistics and facility issues are managed at our eight health centres across the region, and at the regional headquarters. Working to the CO at the regional headquarters in Victoria Barracks Melbourne, you will work mostly autonomously to resolve issues across the region, whilst also being part of a dynamic headquarters involved in problem-solving and issues management. Your work will be vital to ensure Defence health facilities operate as intended, and have the facilities and materiel ability to contribute to Defence outcomes. The health and wellbeing support provided to Defence members at our health facilities is crucial to the capability of the Australian Defence Force. You'll join a team of people who are caring and supportive by nature.
