**About the role**

Mater Health is looking for an experienced Guest Services Manager to join the team This permanent, full-time role will be based at our South Brisbane campus.

The primary purpose of the position is to lead, manage and coordinate Cleaning and Linen functions ensuring the provision of customer-focussed, comprehensive, cost effective and quality services to all Mater Group employees, patients and external customers.

**Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and **access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900** + **access to many staff benefits

**What you’ll be doing**

The position is required to manage the operational and business direction of these areas within the strategic direction of the organisation. In particular ensuring strict hygiene, infection control and OH&S standards are maintained and the efficient and effective use of human and financial resources to ensure positive outcomes and customer service are achieved in line with statutory regulations.

**About you**

You must demonstrate at least 5 years of professional experience overall, with a minimum of three years of leadership experience managing a large team of staff
- Previous Health / Aged Care, Retail or Hotel management experience in housekeeping or cleaning
- Tertiary qualification in Management, Business, Graduate Hotel School or related discipline (desirable)
- Experience in budget management of labour and non labour costs and experience in identifying opportunities for improved financial performance.
- Ability to ensure that all functions within their responsible services achieve standards and meet key performance indicators.
- Experience in leadership and management of Operational Service managers and their teams.
- Experience in quality improvement and meeting national standards.
- Have a strategic outlook.
- An ability to engage with operational staff across the business.
- Creativity and innovation; and being agile, open to change and a continuous learner.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills
