We are currently looking for an Aviation Protection Officer to be based Newcastle Airport on a part-time basis.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Undertaking screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment
- Ensuring compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travellers and visitors.

**You will have**:

- The ability to obtain or be endorsed for the Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP).
- The ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments.
- The ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- The availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
- Applied skills, knowledge, and physical ability to perform all security and safety emergency procedures.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing team environment.
