**Your next career opportunity**
As Operations Coordinator at the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, you'll lead vital administrative functions in a world-class research environment. You'll oversee key operational processes, including HR administration, facilities management, and finance, while developing innovative systems to support the School's needs. This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact on the School's operations, working collaboratively with a supportive team in a values-driven culture.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- **Lead Operational Processes**: Oversee end-to-end processes in HR, facilities, finance, and general administration, ensuring smooth operations across the School.
- **Provide Expert Advice**: Offer high-level guidance on University procedures, particularly in staffing, recruitment, compliance, and governance.
- **Manage and Develop Staff**: Supervise a small team, providing clear expectations, regular feedback, and fostering professional growth.
- **Enhance Administrative Systems**: Design and implement efficient processes, including staff induction, finance management, and records management.

You are a proactive problem-solver with excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced academic environment while fostering collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
**You may also**:
- Have strong experience in HR administration and process management.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in financial management and procurement processes.
- Be adept at developing and implementing administrative systems and processes.
- Have experience in supervising and mentoring staff.
