**About the Role**
- Play a pivotal part in enhancing the efficiency of the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre’s HR, IT, and administrative functions. From refining administrative systems to providing vital support to the Executive Director, you'll be instrumental in streamlining operations and driving continuous improvement, ensuring exceptional service delivery across the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the Centre's Finance, HR, IT, and administrative functions to develop and improve processes.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of plans to streamline and automate administrative functions, ensuring the efficiency of the Centre's operations.
- Providing operational and administrative support to the Executive Director on a range of activities.
- Coordinating the Centre’s interface with the University’s administrative systems.
- Developing a central process library, adapting local systems and processes to MEC’s operating environment.

**Who We Are Looking For**
You possess proven experience in business administration and operations, along with an understanding of policies, procedures, and systems, especially within the entrepreneurship and innovation sector. Your expert ability to prioritise workloads across multiple teams, and work well under pressure, combined with strong communication skills allow you to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

You also have:

- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline and subsequent experience in research or business administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Proven experience in business administration and operations.
- High level organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in error-free document preparation.
