**Your new role**

As Transactional Servicing Banker you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and bringing your unique personality to every call. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Answering inbound calls from personal customers about a range of simple to complex enquiries.
- Types of calls you will service include; 'I would like to set up a payment, 'I would like to dispute a transaction', 'my card is not working' etc.
- A strong focus on first call resolution and availability to talk to customers when scheduled.
- To provide existing customers and prospects with correct information regarding National products and services.
- Identify cross sell opportunities when assessing customers financial needs and refer to the appropriate specialists.
- Educating customers towards self-serve digital channels
- Adherence to Industry Code of Practice is paramount.
**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have a real passion for providing first class customer service; able to listen to the customer's needs whilst operating various systems at one time, you will have outstanding communication skills and the desire to work towards individual targets and team goals. Being resilient and able to ask probing questions is a must. Your ability to work flexibly on a rotational roster whilst maintaining high levels of adherence to breaks is critical to your success as is your professional image to all customers and prospects at every interaction.
- Previous customer service experience (retail, hospitality etc)
- Previous call centre experience is preferable but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- Resilience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A customer centric mindset
