**Advisor - Capability, Ongoing based in Sydney CBD with remote working opportunities**

As our Capability Advisor you will provide support and advice on the development, implementation and evaluation of the capability program as well as enabling consistent training communications, to ensure alignment to digital capability uplift across all of Government and the program objectives.

The NSW Government Digital Channels team is looking for a Capability Advisor to join our team An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Capability Advisor to join us on our journey to becoming the world’s most customer-centric Government.

**Some of your key accountabilities may be**:

- Support the design, delivery, and implementation of training programs and materials using a range of delivery modes to build and enhance workforce capability
- Support the team in the upkeep of relevant and useful information, tools and resources, to ensure the successful onboarding and offboarding of stakeholders
- Assist manager and staff to analyse learning and capability results to highlight success measures of the delivery of capability uplift to digital professionals impacted by the program and inform future delivery models
- Administer the learning management system and new user requests to support the learner community with timely access to learner led initiatives
- Provide digital training to migrated agencies on nsw.gov.au
- Liaise with team members and other project staff and contribute and assist with regular communication broadcasts to the learner community to ensure delivery of timely, consistent and coordinated content

**To be successful you should demonstrate**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, equivalent, relevant professional experience in education, learning and development, adult training or similar
- Proven experience with training and development programs, ideally in a digital working environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information simply and in an engaging fashion.
- Experience in learning design or facilitation or desire to do so
- A sound knowledge and understanding of content management systems, preferably Drupal
- Ability to work collaboratively with strong influencing skills to get results
- Experience in working with learning management systems and developing instructional learning materials
- Flexible and adaptable and can deliver quality and meaningful work in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment
- Experience with agile working methodologies is preferred

What is in our sights right now is a transformational program consolidating government information from many websites into a customer-centric nsw.gov.au
- the OneCX program.

To do this, we want to gather a talented team that will establish great ways of working, collaborate on delivery, challenge old business models and test and learn new technologies.

Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $101947 base plus superannuation
