**The Medical Assessment Tribunals consist of over 200 appointed medical specialists sitting regularly on tribunals and making medical decisions about workers' injuries within the Queensland workers' compensation scheme. A Tribunal Coordinator is responsible for the validation and management of an allocated caseload of referrals from Queensland workers' compensation insurers, overseeing the process from referral to final outcome. The role involves ensuring legislative requirements have been met, providing technical advice and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Although there are no mandatory qualifications for the role, it will be highly regarded if applicants have workers' compensation knowledge or experience working in a tribunal, court or for a regulator.
