**We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our Life Insurance company QInsure, part of Australian Retirement Trust as Head of Risk, Regulatory and Compliance.**

QInsure is committed to instilling a strong risk culture through effective risk management with this role supporting the QInsure Leadership Team to deliver strategic outcomes that are aligned to the requirements of QInsure’s Risk Management Framework.

This role will see you support the development and implementation of the risk strategy; managing and mitigating risks, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining strong risk landscape that supports our objectives aligned with the organisation’s vision and strategy.

You will foster a strong risk culture whilst managing a team of risk, compliance and regulatory professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring as required.

**About you**

You have in depth knowledge of insurance products and industry trends (preferably life insurance), strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies. You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve common goals. Furthermore, your skills, experience and qualifications may include the following:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant finance or business-related discipline
- Understanding of superannuation and insurance legislative requirements and APRA, APRA and Austrac regulations
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management and governance processes and practices including risk profiling, control assessment and mitigating treatments.
