Head up the risk and compliance function for an International Bank
- Mandarin speaking highly desired
- 5 years' risk and compliance experience in financial services essential

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the development and implementation of the Compliance and AML/CTF framework
- Provide compliance and regulatory advice to the branch
- Oversee 2 direct reports
- Evaluate the impact of regulatory and legislative changes
- Ensure continued compliance with the requirements of the AML/CTF Act and AML/CTF rules through ongoing surveillance and monitoring
- Daily, monthly and quarterly monitoring of key risk indicators
- Developing and maintaining risk frameworks
- Preparation of Compliance Papers and minutes for the Branch Compliance and AML Committee Meeting
- Manage regulatory relationships with ASIC, APRA and AUSTRAC

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or related field.
- At least 5 years' of experience in risk management and compliance within the financial services space
- Fluent in Mandarin highly desired
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex risk and compliance issues to a variety of stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
