**The Role**
The role of the Head of Retail is to coach, mentor & develop our team of managers across a stable of 10 cafes across NSW we own to maximize results. This fast-paced role managing all cafe operations, including retail, product, staffing & brand positioning is all encompassing overviewing this best in sector group of cafes, for longterm, sustainable business growth & success.
This is an exciting new opportunity to work closely with our head of sales & marketing who currently looks after this area. You will have previous experience, running a group of venues in a miriade of sectors with fiscal oversite at the fore. We are seeking someone who strives for excellence, to achieve greater results. You have a passion for customer service & want to be part of the most positive retail team in Australia.
You will have monthly targets & incentives in place with solid KPI's driving positive growth. You will have full oversite of the profitability of the venues & drive positivity across product, sales, purchasing & team. Our success is your success.

You will be trained in all our systems & process at our Alexandria HO.
**The Group**
Our bakery group comprising of wholesale & 10 x retail stores is a family run business that started from very humble beginnings. We never take for granted our origins, & always remember the journey. In doing so, we never forget that our people are our business.

**What will your day-to-day look like?**
**People**: You must love interacting with people, both our own & our guests. You are friendly, courteous & passionate. You are a clear & open communicator, you practice what you preach, you lead from the front.
**Strategy**: You will be building custom strategies for the venues which involves researching competitors & fully comprehending our venues, how they are positioned in the marketplace & how they could gain marketshare. This part of the role is the most important. The retail businesses need to stand alone in profitability.
**Problem solving**: You identify pain points quickly & come up with innovative solutions. This will be problems teams are facing in their business as well as problems that arise in their day to day. The ability to solve these quickly is essential in this role.
**Management**: You will be stepping in to manage 10 cafe general managers. You will be responsible for the team hitting their KPI’s, as well as your own.
- We have monthly targets which will change based on the time of year._
**Admin**: Be proficient in our POS systems & other tools to manage your communication & the venues along with key touch points. Everything must be organised & structured.
**Sales**: Although you are not directly responsible for this, you will be across what we are doing to drive sales. You will be across the data of what sells best & at what tine of the day, you are responsible for this development & uplift.
**Service**:You are a service first sort of character, will keep yourself informed around our offering & innovations that are happening so that you are constantly well informed for the team. Things change quickly so you must always be up to date.
**Of course, Sales**: You will be a sales expert, having been a top performer in previous roles. We require a proven track record in order to lead the teams to be the top artisinal bakery companies in Australia.
- 2 years+ of experience in leading retail sales teams
- 2 years+ experience in team management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of internal and external parties
- Ability to create, communicate and present successful sales driven techniques
- Base Salary + kpi package
- Extraordinary customer service skills
- Ability to wrk in a faced paced work envridneroment
