Embarking on a major capital development project of NSW State Significant status, based in Pt Kembla, NSW.
We are seeking an experienced Logistic Coordinator with heavy industrial experience, to join the owners project delivery team. Expected duration of 3 to 4yrs.
**Role**
As the Logistics Coordinator you will look after and facilitate the equipment that is to be supplied for various contracts as well as asset overhauls, through both feasibility and execution phases of the project. Ensuring that all equipment is delivered safely, on-time and to the designated work areas. You will also coordinate with the appropriate engineers to inspect and label all items for storage and future transport as well as look after equipment in extended storage.
You will also manage routine storage tasks such as rotation of equipment, warranty work and document and quality control.
Requirements;
- Competent and qualified in driving a forklift and an overhead crane
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Previous experience using auditing and safety systems.
