Permanent part-time Retail Leasing Coordinator for government organisation

**Your new company**

A government organisation known for its strong community focus and respect for cultural diversity, now requires a client-side (Senior level) Retail Leasing Coordinator to join the team in a part-time capacity, 3 days per week, PERMANENTLY, to assist with re-negotiating a number of existing and new leases and work collaboratively with Senior Management in developing longer term property strategies. If you have a strong background & experience in commercial retail leasing or have prior public sector experience, we would love to hear from you

**Your new role**

You will be required to:

- Negotiate, prepare, and implement existing and new leases (licences)
- Negotiate short term tenancy arrangements
- Supervising valuations and renewal processes
- Collaborate with management in forecasting and developing budgets and costings
- Sourcing new business and tenants while continually developing relationships with existing tenants and relevant stakeholders
- Provide advice and assist with property strategy & new developments
- Communicate and liaise with tenants, Statutory Authorities, consultants, contractors, and the public
- Monitor compliance of all tenants

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful, you will require:

- High-level of retail & commercial property management (leasing/ licencing)
- Tertiary qualifications in a property related field is advantageous
- Exceptional communication & negotiation skills - being fundamental to the position
- Strong understanding of the property market
- Skills in strategic property planning and development
- A motivated attitude with the ability to work autonomously and problem solve

**What you'll get in return**

- an attractive salary package, between $101k-$113k+Super (11%) pro-rata for 3 days per week
- A supportive team environment and flexible working hours (part time), with the ability to work from home for one day (with approval) and site.
