Operating from within Executive Services, Corporate Services, Cabinet and Parlia mentary Services, you will provide administrative and operational support to ensure that the Director-General and portfolio Minister are effectively prepared for all Cabinet, Cabinet Committee, Executive Council and Parliamentary business.
As a Cabinet Legislation and Liaison Support Officer you will have responsibility for the following:

- Providing executive support to the Cabinet Legislation and Liaison Officer (CLLO) and Director-General, DTIS for all Cabinet, Cabinet Committee, Executive Council and Parliamentary business and functions relating to the portfolio Minister.
- Coordinating (on a weekly basis) the preparation of briefing notes to the Minister, Director-General and relevant senior executive officers on Cabinet and Cabinet Committee submissions.
- Preparing summaries of Cabinet Decisions for the Director-General, DTIS and relevant senior executive officers.
- Coordinating the review of and response to discussion papers and other consultation requests circulated through the CLLO network within required timeframes.
- Assisting the CLLO in providing advice and development opportunities to departmental staff in relation to Cabinet, Cabinet Committee, Executive Council and Parliamentary business.
- Maintaining a secure filing system and computer-based register with respect to all Cabinet, Cabinet Committee, Executive Council, Parliamentary and Ministerial correspondence in accordance with departmental protocols and the Governing Queensland suite of handbooks.
