**About Them**
Our client is a leading international Infrastructure, Engineering and Construction company who are going from strength to strength and are cementing themselves as an industry leader by being awarded several multi billion
- dollar contracts including Sydney Metro West. They are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to champion safety excellence on site.

**About the Role**:
As the Safety Manager, you will spearhead the development and implementation of a robust safety culture onsite. Key responsibilities include:

- Devising strategies to foster a culture of WHS excellence through system establishment, monitoring, education, and training.
- Investigating incidents and near misses, offering recommendations for prevention and improvement.
- Conducting thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with WHS standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with the project team to identify and rectify any WHS performance gaps.
- Organizing and delivering WHS training tailored to project requirements.
- Cultivating strong relationships with project stakeholders and local authorities.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety.
- Profound knowledge of current health and safety legislation, procedures, and best practices.
- Exceptional people management skills, fostering high performance while maintaining standards.
- Demonstrated experience on Tier 1 projects, with tunnelling expertise preferred.

**About the Project**:
The role encompasses overseeing the delivery of nine kilometers of metro rail tunnels, excavation of station boxes, earthworks, utilities, and more, reflecting the project's scale and complexity.
