**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Billing Analyst to join our Customer Operations unit in Melbourne on a permanent full-time basis. As part of our Retail Markets business pillar, our Billing Analysts are dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of our Residential, SME and C&I customers as well as key analysis and identification of any inaccurate billing and contractual charges. In this role you will be supporting our WA Mass Market Billing area whilst working closely with all internal colleagues and any third-party print vendor and gas industry partners. Key responsibilities will include:
**Duties**:

- Processing operational exceptions across customer life cycle to achieve Billing KPIs results
- Setting up accounts in billing system on contractual rates and tariffs
- Raising transfers to Gas network operator for customer acquisition activity
- Interacting with internal and external customers to resolve any billing issues and answer inquiries
- Providing issue resolution from Inbox and task activities to support customer and operational outcomes

**Skills and experience**:

- Experience working in a Retail Business unit in a similar role
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to stay motivated within a repetitive team environment
- An analytical approach to problem solving and high attention to detail
- Knowledge in transfers, churns, service order processes, meter data and billing activities
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting retail energy contracts will be highly regarded
