Privately owned reputable National environmental company specialising in Wastewater services that have embraced their continued growth which has now led to them becoming one of the largest and most reputable privately owned and operated sweeping contractors in the Southern Hemisphere.

**The Opportunity**
Reporting into the Qld State Manager, this position is located the southern suburbs of Brisbane, the State Operations Manager will ensure the Qld operation is executed efficiently ensuring profitability to assist the State in a massive phase of growth.

**Position**
Your primary function will be to drive, lead, and remotely manage all operational aspects of the QLD Operations to support company objectives, growth, and financial targets.

**Key Responsibilities**
This position will be responsible for the following core duties:

- Ensure the QLD operation is executed efficiently, and that the quality of service delivered to our clients meets or exceeds expectations;
- Drive revenue growth by exploring and maximising outcomes for all possible opportunities on a consistent and regular basis;
- Ensure staff performance and approach is at a high standard which fits with the Group's team orientated ethos by contributing positively to a harmonious and safe working environment; and
- Delivery ‘one on one’ training to new sweeper operators

**Criteria for the Role**
In order to maintain these responsibilities, the successful applicant **must** have:

- Strong operational management experience; including full P&L responsibility/financial reporting etc
- Experience in related industries such as Waste or Industrial Services (preferred);
- Demonstrate a ‘hands on’ management style and lead from the front;
- Mechanical aptitude;
- Experienced in fleet scheduling;
- Outstanding leadership and people management skills;
- Ability to motivate team members to reach desired outcomes;
- Capacity to work in a dynamic and challenging 24/7 environment;
- MR Licence (essential)

From time-to-time interstate/ travel will be required.
