As the State Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the sales team in Brisbane and driving revenue growth for their luxury architectural and interior finishes products. ABOUT THE ROLE
They looking for a driven individual who is passionate about architecture and design, as well as leading and motivating a high performance sales team.
In conjunction with the GM Sales, the Sate Sales Manager is responsible for creating the annual strategic sales plan for their state and then owning the implementation of the strategy during its operational period.
Developing and retaining a high-performance local team, who have the skills and support necessary to deliver a luxury end to end experience for our clients, while maintaining key relationships in the market and delivering our sales targets.
We put an emphasis on developing genuine and long-term relationships with our clients. You will develop and maintain exceptional knowledge about our product so you are able to understand your clients vision for their projects and advise on options, ensuring they are more educated and confident in their choice of our premium product.
Your role is to empower the BDMs to achieve individual sales budgets through effective leadership, skills development and setting clear goals and accountabilities in accordance with the principles of a high-performance team.
You will also be responsible for personal sales and specification targets with key clients in the state. We are looking for someone who is a talented sales leader, is engaging, driven and well-presented who wants to develop a career in the luxury architectural and design product space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide quality leadership to the team to ensure they are skilled, motivated and trained to operate as a high performance sales team
Management of the state P&L to ensure we are not only achieving/exceeding budget targets but managing the costs in line with agreed budgets
Ensuring the whole team are working together to deliver a luxury end to end experience for our clients and industry partners ensuring they feel valued and our service is always on brand
Build relationships with key luxury residential architects and designers
Monitor the pipeline of projects/opportunities and secure product specifications
Represent Tongue & Groove at networking and industry functions to develop key relationships and promote our brand
Track and manage all client activity and projects in our CRM
Work towards personal and team sales targets and goals
They key point of liaison with procurement, finance, our warehouse to ensure we are operating as one team and all our projects to ensure a positive client experience and sales process
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent established sales leadership skills
As the face of the state and our brand, you must be well presented and take pride in your personal presentation
Financially skilled to manage the state P&L
Genuine "people person" with a commitment to providing first-class customer service and developing relationships
Understanding of a luxury brand and the ability to ensure all employees in the state are able to deliver the sales experience expected of such a brand
Passion for architecture, interiors and design
Internally motivated to achieve and exceed sales and service targets and goals
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Be creative and find new ways to work with our clients and industry partners
A desire to work in a high performance team where every member of the company is working together to see our timber in Australia’s most beautiful spaces
Strong time management, administration and organisational skills
Likes working in a small team towards a goal, while playing an important role in a greater company
IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
Experience with CRM or order and project management systems
Background in furniture, fabrics, building materials, interior design, luxury goods or a premiu
