We are currently seeking a Technical Product and Solutions Sales Manager for our Australian and New Zealand region to operate from our Sydney office. As the main customer interface for technical sales questions, your primary responsibility will be to increase our distribution sales to existing and new accounts. Your customer base will include small to larger integrators and resell channels within our territory.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders
- Identify and develop sales opportunities for Woodward engine and turbine power generation control products and solutions through consultative selling
- Answer incoming technical assistance and sales calls to identify solutions and sales opportunities
- Work with local sales and engineering teams, other related departments, and international colleagues to formulate the sales strategy as well as win bids and proposals
- Stay abreast of product developments, the competitive landscape, and changes that are important to our business
- Provide technical customer presentations and achieve sales targets

Selection Criteria:

- Required: Electrical background of field engineering work or proven technical sales experience within the area of power generation control systems
- Strong desire to grow and use technical skills to thrive within a consultative sales role
- Ability and willingness to travel and be away from home an average of 20-30 days per year
- Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to persuade, negotiate, and resolve conflict
- Results-driven mindset and a can-do attitude
- Assertiveness, tenacity with a demonstrable sense of urgency, determination, and resilience
- Proven ability to build and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organizational structure
- High attention to detail, good work ethic, and organized
