Boral Asphalt have an outstanding opportunity for a Construction or Engineering student to join our team as a Project Coordinator based in Toowoomba QLD 4350.

This is a unique opportunity to launch your career with a best in class, national business. In this valued role, you will coordinate asphalt projects and undertake resource scheduling whilst minimising risk, ensuring construction standards meet legislation and that Boral meets performance expectations.

This role presents a real pathway to a compelling career in Project Management as you learn and develop on the job with support from Project Managers across the business. With asphalt projects across the country, this role will also provide an opportunity to travel to other areas and benefit from a tool of trade vehicle. We are seeking a proactive and curious student who is seeking to work 4 or 5 days per week, with time allocated to continuing your studies.

**Your day will involve**:

- Planning and scheduling of day-to-day activities to meet project milestones
- Liaising and working closely with contracting teams and site personnel to deliver performance outcomes
- Monitoring of supplier & subcontractor performance
- Providing engineering support to management.

**What are we looking for?**
- Relevant qualifications or studying towards Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- Knowledge and understanding of project management methodology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships and to lead and influence stakeholders.
