Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. **What you'll be doing**
The Clinical Support Officer (CSO) is a unit based role to provide co-ordination and provision of administrative support to the patients, nurses, medical staff and allied health staff within the unit. To facilitate the effective day-to-day operation of the Cystic Fibrosis Unit in Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine (Westmead).

**Selection Criteria**
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience in office administration, preferably in a health care environment, with a sound knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Demonstrated ability to carry out a broad range of administrative functions, including maintaining patient confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to monitor own workflows and productivity to ensure maximum efficiency
- Advanced computer and database skills, including the ability to generate queries and reports as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone technique with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels, and including Dictaphone skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
