We have partnered with an innovative Not for Profit organisation dedicated to advancing children's health through transformative research initiatives. As a leader in translational research across a wide range of paediatric health issues from Cystic Fibrosis, Cancer, Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Mental Health, they are bridging the gap between scientific discovery and meaningful health outcomes.

**About the Role**:

As the Communications and Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the public image and brand identity of the organisation. Your expertise will drive the strategic communication efforts that convey the significance of research, achievements, and the shared mission to improve children's health.

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Elevate awareness and the profile of the organisation through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Lead the conceptualization, writing, and production of impactful content that showcases the organisations programs and projects.
- Collaborate closely with partner Communications and Marketing teams to amplify shared stories and maximise social media and communication opportunities.
- Contribute to the strategic direction by producing engaging corporate resources, including annual reports, brochures and fact sheets.
- Create and distribute e-newsletter, engaging subscribers and enhancing readership.
- Oversee the organisations digital presence, including website content, updates, and development, as well as managing social media channels.
- Develop content and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including partner organisations, government departments, and research institutes.
- Collaborate on event communication, including launches, conferences, and awareness campaigns.

As a tenured Communications and Marketing Manager, you have a proven track record in crafting compelling narratives, fostering engagement across diverse audiences, and raising brand visibility.

Your ability to translate complex scientific information into accessible content will be pivotal in driving the organisations impact.

**You will also need**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related area.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage concurrent tasks, solve problems, and prioritize effectively.
- A track record of creating impactful internal and external publications, electronic newsletters, web content, and multimedia materials.
- Demonstrated expertise in social media management across a variety of platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
- Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
- Experience with social media scheduling and management tools such as Hootsuite.
- Experience in created captivating photo and video content, with editing and production skills.
- Navigate the intricacies of collaborative research, health, clinical, academic, and practice environments.
- A strategic mindset and a willingness to pitch innovative ideas.

If you have a background or are familiar with public health and medical research it will be held in high regard.
