Quality & Compliance Specialist I Big Wx

We have a fixed-term opportunity (6 month with potential view of extension) for a Quality & Compliance Specialist to join our Product Quality & Compliance team.

The Quality and Compliance specialist role is responsible to deliver key compliance requirements for all products and processes completed in the Big W X business. The specialist must collaborate across the business with all teams and with our suppliers to support the delivery of our key operational quality and compliance requirements for all products sold through the BIG W X digital platforms.

**About the Opportunity
**As a Quality & Compliance Specialist, your main responsibilities includes, but not limited to:

- Develop and document the key compliance requirements which relate to quality, compliance and product safety for all products sold through our BIG W digital platforms.
- Engage with both internal digital and external stakeholders to support their understanding of Big W’s compliance requirements, and how these requirements help us to meet our obligations under Australian consumer law
- Support the BIG W X team to deliver compliance within the customer facing digital platforms.
- Engage with all suppliers who will provide product through the DSV or Marketplace model to ensure that product safety ,quality and compliance requirements are delivered to ensure that we deliver quality safe products to our online customers
- Train all members of the BIG W X team in the compliance requirements for product safety and quality including key requirements around claims, naming conventions, sustainability attributes etc.
- Review and approve all online claims for products which appear on the BIG W website.
- Build streamlined processes which improve the process of information transfer from commercial and supplier to deliver compliant online content.
- Work closely with the leaders in BIG W X to facilitate a plan for delivery of the ACCC product safety pledge for online businesses.
- Work closely with the QA and Customer Care team to deliver end to end across our business

You have previous experience working in a compliance team with an expertise in regulatory compliance and product safety, ideally within an online digital retailing.

You have high attention to details and the ability to deliver technical documents to support and guide your key stakeholders. You will be seen as the Compliance SME from the different partners you deal with on a daily basis. Engaging with stakeholders holds no secret for you You work in a collaborative way with stakeholders at all levels, always with end to end thinking.
