The Property team is responsible for leading a diverse range of developments, requiring a collaborative and innovative approach. The Development Manager role focuses on Ivanhoe, Parkville, and Coburg projects. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team member to assist with these community-shaping projects.

**As a Development Manager, your key accountabilities will include**:

- Assist in the preparation and management of financial feasibility models and development options for potential projects.
- Delivering staged civil infrastructure packages including design input, consultant engagement and management, liaison with Council and Authorities, gaining planning and other approvals, procurement and management of contractors, gaining compliances and closing out projects.
- Contribute to the development, management and delivery of project strategies and prepare development or project management plans for allocated projects.
- Manage the financial performance of the allocated project(s) by participating in the establishment of budgets and milestones, preparing monthly forecasts, monitoring performance against planned objectives and outcomes and preparing monthly reports and reviews.
- Lead or assist in the development of Project Briefs, Principal’s Project Requirements and other documents that confirm project objectives.
- Manage the design and procure approvals for allocated projects.
- Manage all project documentation (including briefs, approvals, designs, programs, drawings, specifications, licence agreements, contracts, leases or sales documents and the like).
- Support and work collaboratively with the project team and other Development Victoria divisions in the delivery of corporate goals and objectives.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About You**:
You’ll be able to demonstrate expertise in the delivery of multidisciplinary projects together with exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You’ll have hands-on experience managing residential civil infrastructure developments.

Ideally you will have;
- Bachelor degree in a construction, property development or project management discipline or related industry.
- Broad-ranging experience in the management of projects focusing on the delivery of urban infill built form in civic infrastructure.
- Proven project management experience in planning, organizing and coordinating the planning, development, design, construction and marketing of projects, particularly greenfield sites.
- Experience in the preparation and analysis of financial feasibility studies, budgets, forecasts and tight cost monitoring to achieve profitable project outcomes.
- Up to date knowledge of legislation, planning controls, development agreements and construction contracts
- Commercial, stakeholder and other negotiation skills
- High quality written and verbal communication and presentation skills
