**D'Arcy Weil is representing a renowned global investment firm focusing on renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Portfolio Development Manager to join their team in Melbourne.**

In this role, the Portfolio Development Manager will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of their renewable energy portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identifying and evaluating potential renewable energy investment opportunities to expand their portfolio.
- Conducting thorough market research and analysis to assess the viability and profitability of renewable energy projects.
- Collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and industry experts to develop and execute comprehensive business strategies.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key players in the renewable energy sector, including project developers, utilities, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
- Leading negotiations, due diligence processes, and deal structuring for potential investments.
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends, policy changes, and technological advancements related to renewable energy.
- Developing and managing financial models, forecasts, and risk assessments for renewable energy projects.
- Preparing investment proposals, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Staying up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory frameworks in the renewable energy sector.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio development, project finance, or investment management in the renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of successfully executing renewable energy investments, including due diligence, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy markets, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with project development, permitting processes, and power purchase agreements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess investment risks and opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
