MedicFirst Saltwater Coast is Point Cook's leading General Practice, located conveniently in the vibrant Saltwater Coast community. Our practice includes 7 respected GPs alongside dentists, allied health practitioners, and specialists. Conveniently located within a bustling community shopping centre near local schools and community hubs, our primary goal is to empower GPs to work independently in order to deliver personalized patient care. Outside the clinic, we actively support local sporting clubs, schools, and host multiple social events for our staff throughout the year.

**About the Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has opened to join our successful medical practice as a GP Receptionist. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to GPs, managing scheduling changes and day-to-day operational needs.
- Support your colleagues to meet their goals.
- Greet patients warmly and manage patient inquiries efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring patients feel comfortable, valued, and well-informed.
- Process patient payments and manage accounts.
- Order and manage practice supplies as needed.

**About You**

**Essential**:
**Communication Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.

**Administrative Skills**:

- Prior experience in administration and/or customer service.
- Strong computer literacy (proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

**Team and Culture Fit**:

- Positive attitude and proactive approach.
- Strong teamwork skills, ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
- Openness to feedback, enthusiasm for learning new systems, and contributing to process improvements.

**Highly Advantageous**:

- Previous experience in a General Practice setting.
- Familiarity with Best Practice Software and Medicare billing procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Performance bonus
