Join our dynamic team as a Medical Receptionist and be a vital part of our welcoming and patient-focused practice

Milsons Point Medical Centre is an established practice located in Milsons Point seeking a new receptionist to join our team.

It is expected that you will have exceptional organisational skills, high level of customer service, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and have efficient time management.

As a receptionist, you are the main point of contact for our patients, being the first person they see when they enter the practice, as well as the first person they speak to over the phone.

Experience in medical reception is highly regarded, but training is available.

Experience with Best Practice software is highly regarded.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Organising patients appointments & checking in patients
- Maintaining a tidy and organised reception and waiting room area
- Answering and addressing all incoming phone calls
- Updating patient information
- Recall for results
- Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing
- Billing
- Monitoring and ordering supplies

**What we are looking for**
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Strong customer service skills
- It is an advantage to be well versed in Best Practice, however training is available

**Salary**: From $28.34 per hour

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
