Property Claims Consultant

A well establish and highly regarded insurance broker based in Melbourne CBD is seeking and experienced Property Claims Officer to join their Strata team. n
As a Property Claims Officer your duties will include
- Management of a portfolio of Strata/Commercial Property claims.
- Determine the nature of the loss and coverage provided, then effectively negotiate, and investigate each claim while communicating with all relevant parties.
- Provide advice on coverage.
- Proactively drive claim progress.
- Interpret policy wording and review of circumstance to ensure coverage is maximised.
- Provide structured claim solutions.
- Liaise with clients, external service providers and other insurance organisations.
Essential requirements
- Proven history of effectively managing a portfolio property claims.
- Strata claims experience would be a distinct advantageous but not essential.
- Effective communication, negotiation, dispute resolution and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to build a strong rapport with service providers and clients.
- Confident in your ability to effectively manage the claims process and all relevant parties.
- Ability to take ownership while working to tight deadlines.
