You’ll apply trauma-informed communication and demonstrate a deep understanding of the psychosocial and financial impacts of illness and income disruption.* End-to-end management of complex medical and loss of income claim* Ensuring that claim reserves are set and maintained in line with actuarial principles, policy terms, and regulatory expectations.* Manage complaints and escalations, using your conflict resolution skills to de-escalate concerns, restore trust, and ensure a fair and transparent claims experience.* Supporting customers with mental health challenges, financial hardship, or language/cultural barriers **About you:*** Experience with mental health, injury, and chronic illness-related claims* Strong grasp of loss of income calculations, including offsets, waiting periods, benefit caps, and pre-disability earnings* Proficiency working with vulnerable customers* Demonstrated skill in complaints handling and de-escalation technique* Confidence in liaising with medical professionals, clients, employers, brokers, and other stakeholders **Caring Culture**It’s at the heart of everything we do, and we show we care by living our core values: Empathy, Accountability, Inclusion, Collaboration, and Growth.
