**About The Role**
Reporting into the Head of Talent, this brand new senior role will sit within our People & Culture function and see you develop a multifaceted DE&I strategy and implementation plan to deliver a range of initiatives designed to create an unparalleled sense of inclusion & belonging at Sportsbet. This will be achieved through collaboration with the business, strong use of data-led approaches, ERG consultations, and global collaboration with other DEI leads across our Flutter business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic diversity, inclusion, and belonging frameworks, policies, and programs to enhance divisional diversity and reflect community diversity
- Oversee the governance framework and support a range of key strategic plans as well as Employee Reference Groups (ERGs) that celebrate and promote diversity and inclusion to ensure their voices are always at the forefront of inclusion initiatives
- Develop and implement comprehensive DEI strategies, initiatives, and action plans that align with our company’s values and business goals.
- Conduct training and workshops to raise awareness and enhance understanding of DEI issues, fostering a more inclusive and culturally competent workforce
- Contribute to DEI initiatives aimed at attracting, developing and retaining top talent in our organisation
- Provide guidance and support to employee resource groups and affinity networks, encouraging their active participation in promoting diversity and inclusion within the organisation
- Track and help deliver the next interaction of our Reconciliation Action Plan
- Collaborate with HR, leadership, and various teams to integrate DE&I principles into recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and career development processes (Employee Experience)
- Proactively lead gender initiatives aimed at attracting, developing and retaining top talent in our organisation**About You**
You challenge yourself to do things differently & go the extra mile to overdeliver on excitement Along with this, you will have:
- Experience working with a diverse range of people from different backgrounds in a corporate environment
- Proven work experience as a DE&I Manager, Diversity Officer, or in a similar role, with a focus on implementing successful strategies and programs
- In-depth knowledge of DE&I principles, best practices, and emerging trends in diversity and inclusion
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders to champion DE&I initiatives
- Ability to understand and use data to shape initiatives and deliver upon multiple activities or projects
