We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
**Data and Integration Analyst** to join our SCCQ family to work as part of our Business Solutions Team in line with the organisation's Vision, Mission and Values. This is is a full time permanent role.

Working within the Solutions Development Team the role of the Data and Integration Analyst is to develop existing or new data integrations, reports or visualizations that fit within the architecture; as well as assisting in identifying and resolving technical issues.
As part of the role you would have an opportunity to:
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, and transformations.
- Identify, collect, cleanse, analyse and organise data from multiple different sources.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data integrations in line with defined requirements and technical specifications using the organisation preferred software such as Jitterbit or other middleware programs.
- Develop, implement and maintain data uploads in line with defined requirements using the prescribed data tools such as Power BI, Power Automate etc. to generate information and insights from data sets
and identify patterns and visualisations on the organisational dashboard tools.
- Support the development and use of current technologies including artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve business effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide data extracts, visuals, reports, or any data or data integration related requests.
- Migrate data from old technologies/solutions or any other ad-hoc data projects into modern data solutions.
- Identify integration needs and maintain and manage all supporting projects and systems documentation.
- Undertake process mapping and re-engineering where required.
- Document and track test results and software fixes.
- Troubleshoot issues and faults and undertake the maintenance, upgrade and support of existing data and integration systems as required in line with prescribed frameworks for change and release
management procedures.
**What qualifications and skills do I need?**
You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have effective communication and interpersonal skills. As well as having a confident and positive personality, you will ideally possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline or an appropriate tertiary qualification is preferred.
- Outstanding knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
- At least 3 years’ experience in IT or a data integration, BI or reporting environment
- A strong understanding of different databases (ex. SQL server), data systems, data relationships and data modelling in different data environments
- Good knowledge of ETL frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of integration technologies, middleware platforms and data integrations
- Broad knowledge of reporting and data visualization tools
- Excellent analytical (can identify trends, patterns, and insights from data), problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and different departments within the business
- Strong specification skills, solid problem solving and customer service skills
- Accuracy, logic and an ability to communicate complex ideas to others
- Ability to work well within a team as well as to work unsupervised and manage own workload
- Willingness to take ownership of issues and seek resolutions
- Ability to produce accurate and concise technical documentation
- A knowledge of project management principles and willingness to learn these is preferred.
- Maintain up to date vaccination status for COVID 19 and influenza
