Procurement and Contract Specialist - Global Energy Company - Brand New Sustainable Energy Project

This Global Energy Giant has ambitious plans to support their future net-zero ambitions. They are in the process of transitioning one of their former sites into a new energy hub producing renewable fuels and energy products.

There is now an exciting new role for an experienced Procurement and Contracts Specialist to join at the very beginning of a major section of this project.

Reporting directly to the Procurement and Contracts Manager, your duties will include:

- Maximise commercial advantage by leading the development of effective sourcing and contracting strategies to ensure the efficient achievement of project goals.
- Minimise commercial risk through the implementation of robust contractual terms, while reducing the total cost of acquisition and ownership
- Execute and manage all market engagement such as Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP) to meet project goals (EH&S, schedule, quality and TCO) for the project.
- Lead the negotiation process and contract administration of all elements of the project.
- Ensure the implementation of contracts, performance management and supplier relationship management for the project.
- Lead the resolution of commercial issues associated with supplier performance at project level
- Provide guidance and leadership for projects to ensure strategies developed for sourcing packages within the project are aligned with the overall program, regional and global strategies.

Qualifications:

- Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent in an Engineering or Construction related field is required.
- Extensive experience in providing procurement and contract management services within major capital projects.

This role requires a start at relatively short notice and is based in Perth CBD, as well as the option to work from home.

Be there at the very start of his exciting sustainability project and work with a highly experienced and collaborative Manager.
