WesTrac are looking for a **Contracts Specialist - Procurement** to join our team.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager - Procurement, this individual will be responsible for developing category plans to deliver sound commercial and cost-effective outcomes whilst mitigating commercial exposure for the business. In addition, this individual will partner with the key stakeholders in areas such as Operations and Legal, to manage the contract negotiation processes relating to procurement contractual agreements across both Western Australia and New South Wales.

This individual will be responsible for the management of all post contract execution related tasks, to ensure delivery of contractual obligations, risk mitigation and achievement of optimal commercial outcomes in support of business requirements.

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Tertiary Qualification within Procurement, Commercial, Business or Legal or other relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience working within a contract management, procurement, compliance, and quality environments
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret and draft advanced contractual concepts, customer letters, variations, and scope development
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through
- Advanced communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with the ability to effectively develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of interdepartmental team members and external stakeholders
