With flexible working at our core, our teams have the option to work from home, out of our Surry Hills offices, or our corporate head office in Bella Vista.

**What we are looking for**
As Technology Manager - Product Data Platform you will be a visionary and enthusiastic leader responsible for a team passionate about building and managing a cloud based platform core to WooliesX.
You will be in charge of leading a team to build and evolve our Product Data Platform solutions bridging gaps between business problems and technology solutions around Product Data Management. You will need to be future focussed and able to develop a roadmap ensuring anticipated business needs will be met.

Our Data Engineering chapter brings together engineers from all over the world and across a variety of businesses to develop the hosting and delivery strategy for WooliesX. We understand that individuals bring rich perspectives which sometimes hide behind quiet personalities. Leaders within the Data Engineering chapter help to ensure all voices are heard. This is accomplished through mentoring and coaching those within the chapter as well as our squads.

The landscape of technology within WooliesX is a pairing between exciting technologies and opportunities to improve our eCommerce connections and experiences. Our eCommerce business is driving innovation in digital and experience for our customers to ensure Australians have access to their everyday needs online. Our Loyalty and Fintech business supports our rewards customers and provides a compelling proposition for our customers to engage with our brands.

As part of your role at WooliesX you will be part of a Chapter which will provide coaching, learning and development opportunities and opportunities to innovate and collaborate with like minded professionals. On a day to day basis, you will be assigned to a squad, where you will work to define, deliver and launch innovative digital and data propositions for our team and customers. You will have at least 20% of your weekly capacity available to help further your career and develop your skills through your chapter.

**Squad Responsibilities
- Lead a team focussed on building and maintaining a large, operational data platform
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to plan and build new capabilities
- Lead the delivery of data pipelines, data streams and API-based integration solutions
- Ensure and enable innovation, continuous improvement, maintainability, supportability, security compliance and performance of the data platform
- Shape the platform roadmap and design associated engineering capabilities
- Define clear goals for all aspects of squad delivery and manage their execution
- Influence and negotiate squad priorities and delivery with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor, educate and coach squad members as required
