**About the role**

You will be responsible for providing strategic and business management support to the Executive Director of City Planning and Design and the broader Directorate leadership team. This role is integral to the Directorate and works collaboratively across the directorate and Council to provide high level advice, research, support and to design develop and implement ongoing improvement strategies.

The role is responsible for supervising one direct report and together work with the Executive Director and Managers to prepare annual budgets and financial reports, undertake data analysis and research, coordinate business reviews and implement improvement projects, and provide advice and support as required. This role is also responsible for coordinating the Parramatta Local Planning Panel.

**About You**

Applicants should have experience in:

- Financial management and reporting
- Identifying and implementing business improvement projects
- Undertaking research and data analysis including development of KPIs
- Interpreting policy and legislation
- Developing strong stakeholder relationships
- Being able to work with initiative and solve complex problems.

**What’s on offer**

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $137,006 to $150,900 (inclusive of superannuation).
