**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
The Lead Sourcing Specialist leads proactive talent sourcing for various critical strategic workforce initiatives and projects.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Partner closely with stakeholders to develop new and innovative approaches to inform best practice recruitment, in compliance with the existing legislative frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to develop innovative sourcing strategies, in accordance with legislative and related business reforms.
- Undertake research and analysis, across state and international jurisdictions.
- Analyse a range of complex data and information, to inform the best proactive approaches and process improvements.
- Build and sustain understanding of existing technologies and methodologies to enable better identification of opportunities to improve delivery of efficient and effective service.
- Foster and build sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gain support for the implementation of business reforms and to increase staff commitment to service delivery.
- Working collaboratively in cross-directorate and department teams to provide accurate and timely analysis on strategic recruitment data with competing and conflicting priorities and timeframes for completion
- Stay abreast with current and emerging trends, policy and legislative reform to ensure sourcing strategies are both effective and compliant.
- Maintain technical expertise and knowledge of best practice recruitment and strategy sourcing approaches in a dynamic and complex environment.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Prior experience in strategy development and workforce planning.
- 5 years of experience across one or a range of HR functions, with a focus specific to this role on contemporary and value-adding recruitment sourcing within complex environments is highly desirable.
- Government experience is preferred but not essential.
- Experience beyond resource planning/management is desirable.
