Salted Stone is a full-service global marketing agency and HubSpot Elite Partner looking for a full-time permanent **Strategic Account Manager** to join our growing Client Services team.
Salted Stone’s Strategic Account Managers (SAM) are our client’s key contacts. Our SAMs are dedicated to owning and expanding client relationships by
skillfully leading complex projects, providing strategic marketing advice to both clients and our internal teams, and ultimately ensuring great outcomes for both the client and Salted Stone.
**In your role as a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll get to**:
- Manage, build, and maintain client relationships. This includes taking a genuine interest in your clients, their organisation, and their team, as well as being across their marketing challenges and goals.
- Create marketing strategies and communication plans for clients, then work effectively with them and Salted Stone’s production team to implement. This may include:
- Sharing your knowledge of strategic marketing and related trends to customize marketing programs to help drive both client and Salted Stone’s business growth.
- Managing end-to-end marketing activities for clients.
- Tracking marketing campaign results, measuring program success, and reporting metrics, then using this analysis to make recommendations and provide insights for both clients and Salted Stone to grow.
- Keeping abreast of new online trends, as well as digital marketing best practices.
- Coordinating content for websites, social media platforms, and direct marketing campaigns.
- Coordinating the design and update of content for client's digital assets.
- Effectively project manage and grow client engagements, including:
- Onboarding, kick-off sessions, and educating the client on agency processes.
- Building and communicating marketing strategies and activities, and presenting results regularly to clients.
- Day-to-day campaign management, ensuring campaigns are running and being optimized for best results.
- Coordinating a small internal team of peers and juniors, ensuring complete accountability for all communication and context around projects, in order to effectively translate client outcomes to the production team, allowing them to seamlessly deliver the project.
- Writing clear, concise, and detailed briefs for all production departments.
- Managing project sequencing in Teamwork with the production team.
- Maintaining your own campaign/project management Teamwork tasks such as client review, client feedback, client sign-off tasks, asset collection tasks, etc.
- Actively look for upsell and cross-sell opportunities that will solve client challenges and requirements.
**We expect you to have**:
- Demonstrated practical experience in a Marketing Account / Project Management role within an agency (this is a must-have).
- Demonstrated practical experience with HubSpot (this is also a must).
- Previous experience and an interest in managing multiple accounts and engagements simultaneously - this would include retainers, bucket clients, and large website projects.
- A strategic mind that constantly looks for opportunities for growth for their client accounts.
- An interest in growing your knowledge through new marketing technologies and industry trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional time and project management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Understanding of website design and usability concepts and associated terminology, so that you can effectively present design work to clients and minimise scope creep.
- HubSpot Partner Account Manager Certification would be highly regarded.

**Location**
This is a hybrid role with some contact time required in our co-working space in Parramatta. Your new team is primarily split between Sydney and Perth, and your Manager (our Regional Director) is Sydney-based.
