**About the role**:
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will oversee all aspects of the creation and implementation of strategies to grow the business in line with Sime Darby objectives. This role will manage business development, innovation and change management initiatives and improve business performance reporting to enable informed decisions and drive change.

**Roles and responsibilities will include**:

- Assess the feasibility of new franchise and business opportunities in conjunction with both Internal and External business partners as directed by the Managing Director.
- Drive Strategic structuring of both business and financial models, ensuring sound business acumen reports are available to stakeholders.
- Provide, in line with identified growth opportunities, detailed operational process and procedures to support the business unit implementation.
- Work in conjunction with our Malaysian Head Office Strategy Department preparing board paper proposals

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Relevant business tertiary qualifications and/or experience.
- A minimum 10+ years' commercial experience, preferably in senior level Operations or Finance roles.
- Strong financial and business modelling capability.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Excellent business and financial acumen
- Strong strategic and critical thinking ability
- Exceptional computer literacy in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
