**About the role**

The Billings Optimisation Officer will play a critical role ensuring Capitol Health clinics effectively and efficiently bill for patient scans.

The role of the Billings Optimisation Officer is to support the delivery and continuous improvement of a national billing model to deliver effective billing processes across the organisation. This includes billing audits, developing resources and supporting strong change management in the RIS of billing MBS codes.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Help facilitate the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of:

- Admin Billing Policies, defining acceptable billing based on MBS knowledge
- Billing related training and materials
- Billing compliance audits
- Chair the National Billing Committee to oversee and monitor billing performance
- Effectively engage key business stakeholders and work collaboratively to gain endorsement for billing optimization. This includes setting up and leading Working Groups and workshop facilitation where appropriate
- Help facilitate change within the Operational teams to ensure the improvements are understood and embedded.
- Champion clinic billing within the RIS development
- Support in the management of revenue assurance including Medicare compliance and audit processes, and revenue optimisation is consistently reviewed

**Skills and experience**
- Expertise in Medicare billing and administration in radiology industry.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management experience in building relationships across a broad range of business positions.
- Demonstrate strong judgment in decision making and have exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
- Positive, flexible approach with the ability to manage ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment.
