The Opportunity

As an Assistant Operations Manager at Dexus you will be responsible for Macquarie Shopping Centre Retail Asset with effective support to the Operations Manager and site team to deliver the business plan objectives for the asset. The primary areas of focus are to manage operational administration, uphold operational safety, performance, and compliance.

Please note, this role is required on site, full time, 5 days a week and occasional after hours and weekend responsibilities.

You will make an impact by:
- Uphold site induction guidelines for contractor governance and monitor and evaluate contractor performance.- Financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and benchmarking.- Monitor, report, and forecast utility and waste management financial and performance indicators.- Identify and provide recommendations for upgrades of systems, plant, and equipment.- Support the Operations Manager in administering and leading the department.- Stakeholder management and engagement, liaise and coordinate operational activities and service responses with retailers, shopping centre management and building owners.- Environment Health & Safety management across technical compliance, risk management, accident, and incident management.

About You- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline, with a focus on property management/facilities management.- Experience in Operations or Facilities Management as part of a Shopping Centre or Property Management team would be preferable.- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and meet deadlines.- Customer service focused.- Contract relationship management experience.- Financial and budgeting experience.- Experience in project management, delivery of capital works and tenancy coordination.- Understanding of simple valuation and investment principles.Why choose Dexus?
