**About the role**:
In this role you will have the opportunity to make a difference as you assist injured team members by providing case management support and technical advice to facilitate effective claim closure outcomes across the retail business, having a real impact on team member wellbeing. In this role you will;
- Provide expert Early Intervention & RTW advice to the team members within the portfolio
- Reducing the health, social and financial impact of work related injuries / illness on Team Members Stay at Work / Return to Work strategies
- Reducing the direct and indirect costs of workers compensation
- Assisting the business to meet our legislative and self-insurance licensing injury management / return to work obligations
- Manage the RTW of a portfolio of claims within legislative, self-insurance and business requirements
- Provide injured Team Members, Treaters and Line Managers with accurate, timely and appropriate information that is relevant to their roles / responsibilities
- Consult with Team Members, Treaters and Line Managers in developing and implementing appropriate Stay at Work / Return to Work strategies
- Provide specialist support to Coles Express Operations including conducting conferences with Treaters, worksite assessments, functional education and claims reviews
- Work collaboratively with claims officers to develop and implement strategies for case resolution
- Actively participate in case debriefs and monthly case reviews to continually extend skills across team in effective claim resolution
- Be accessibility on weekends and after hours to manage incidents, as required.

**About you**:
Empathetic and focused on delivering personal and professional health advise to our valued team members you will have;
- Empathy and care with well-developed interpersonal and team leadership skills
- Excellent negotiation and engagement skills
- Excellent written/oral communication skills
- Ability to deliver through others (including virtually)
- Ability to interface and influence at all levels of business and with external stakeholders
- A Health related degree (Physiotherapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or related health science field) is highly regarded
- Significant experience assisting injured / ill persons to Stay at Work / Return to Work.
- Experience within a workers compensation environment either within an Insurer, Self-Insurer, Employer or Rehabilitation Provider is essential
- And a valid Australian Driver’s Licence
