Mitolo Family Farms now has a great opportunity for a highly motivated Accounts Officer to join the Finance team.

This position reports directly to the Financial Controller and will be a part of the dynamic and professional Finance team. Located in our head office in Virginia, South Australia, this is a perfect opportunity for a recent school leaver or TAFE graduate, looking to start their career in Administration or Finance.

The Accounts Officer is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable and payable transactions. Initially accounts receivable will be the focus and will then transition into accounts payable function.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

- ** Accounts Receivable**: Accurately process payments, generate invoices/credit notes, monitor accounts, follow up on outstanding debts, reconcile ledgers, and assist in preparing related financial reports.
- ** Accounts Payable**: Review and process vendor invoices, prepare payments, reconcile accounts, and assist in preparing related financial reports.
- ** Process Improvement**: Participate in the continuous improvement of both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Solid data entry & IT skills
- Strong organisation and prioritising skills
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to use initiative within the workplace
- Willingness to work within a team and independently when required
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
