A well-established company that manufactures and distributes their beauty products globally and internationally are seeking a Warehouse Manager located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Your new role

As a hands-on Warehouse Manager of this growing company, day to day you will;
- Provide leadership and management of people, operations, safety, financial, culture and reporting.
- Support Inventory & Products Manager and other key stakeholders to deliver a full range of distribution activities in line with company's strategic business plan.
- Develop warehouse budget and tracking of costs against budget guidelines, strategically adjusting spend as required.
- Develop and execute warehousing and inventory best practice strategies and monitor and report progress and outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement activities throughout the warehouse team to deliver cost savings.
- Plan, organise and coordinate all staff, material, and equipment resources to maximise safety, productivity, and efficiency.
- Comply with all legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Forklift driving.
- Oversee the receipt & despatch of Company Goods Eg: Container/Pallets.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed within this role as the Warehouse Manager, you will need to have;
- Two years plus experience in a warehousing and distribution environment in a leadership capacity.
- Worked within the beauty, pharmaceutical or FMCG preferred.
- Focused on process improvement and cost reduction.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High organisational, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to mentor, develop and lead high performing results driven team.
- Well-developed communication and negotiation skills to facilitate and have the ability to influence key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- High attention to detail.
- Capable of negotiation, project management, communication, and computer literacy skills Microsoft office, ERP Systems, Warehousing systems.
