Hays have partnered with a thriving local council, based in Brisbane's CBD, to appoint an enthusiastic Service Desk Analyst to an initial 6-month contract. As one of Brisbane's biggest employers, and with a strong chance of contract extension, this isn't one you want to miss

**Your new role**

As the Service Desk Analyst, you'll be responsible for provisioning first line support to this organisation's diverse user-base. From password resets, to network troubleshooting, your day-to-day will include:

- Providing that outstanding customer service that everyone is looking for when they call IT - and adhering to 'fix-on-first' SLAs as required
- Building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with internal staff and stakeholders
- Collaborating within your team and team leader to agree performance standards and mutual expectations - you're comfortable giving and receiving feedback to optimise the team's, and your own, potential within the council

**What you'll need to succeed**

You'll be as passionate about IT as you are customer-service, and come from a strong background of phone-based tech support. With exceptional written and verbal communication, and demonstrated organisation skills, you'll bring your attention to detail and love for technology into everything you do.

A Cert III or IV in Information Technology will be highly regarded, but not essential.
