About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join our Finance team based in Macquarie Park for a 12-month maternity leave cover. Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, the purpose of the Commercial Analyst is to calculate and communicate commission payments to all sales people whilst managing the relationship between the various commission stakeholders within the business, monitoring correct revenue treatment in line with relevant Accounting Standards.

**Requirements**:

- Analyse and assess accuracy of commission and sales reports
- Calculate, analyse and maintain records of sales and commission data through various sources
- Communicate commission payments to salespeople
- Coordinate with the sales team on managing deals and resolving commission-related issues
- Summarise and submit commission data for review and payment approval
- Diagnose variations in prices and data, coordinating with internal stakeholders to make necessary amendments
- Evaluate commission guidelines periodically and suggest improvement measures

Who are we looking for?
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Strong business analysis skills and commercial acumen to build financial models
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- User knowledge of SAP and TM1 (preferable)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
