The Strategy Analyst supports senior product leaders in Optus Enterprise and Business (EB) by driving critical initiatives that improve customer and team experience, portfolio profitability, business alignment, process optimisation, and operational excellence. The role involves defining key strategic challenges, developing hypotheses, conducting analysis, and presenting recommendations to business partners at various levels. Managing 1-3 initiatives at a time, the analyst contributes to areas such as digital transformation, customer experience optimisation, product strategy, and operating model refinement, all aimed at strengthening the customer value chain and driving business growth. This position requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, commercial competence, and outstanding communication abilities.

**Your day in the life of a Strategy Analyst at Optus**
- **Problem Solving** - Identify strategic challenges, form hypotheses, capture data from multiple sources, and conduct high-quality analysis to develop actionable recommendations. Act as a trusted advisor to senior business partners for informed decision-making.
- **Communication** - Synthesise insights into clear, structured presentations for senior audiences, including board papers and executive presentations. Effectively facilitate discussions, adjusts communication style for different business partners, and demonstrate strong listening skills.
- **Collaboration** - Build positive relationships with peers and senior business partners, contributing valuable insights and innovative solutions in team brainstorming and strategy sessions.
- **Project Management** - Develop structured work plans, supervise performance metrics, produce high-quality results, identifies risk, and maintain proactive communication to drive positive business outcomes.
- **Leadership and Values** - Take ownership of key deliverables, whilst aligning with Optus values, encouraging a collaborative work environment, and actively build credibility within the Product team.
- **Results Focus** - Ensure successful initiative delivery on time and within budget, driving measurable improvements in P&L performance and customer experience for Optus Enterprise and Business.

**Your skills to pay the bills**
- Relevant professional qualifications and hands on experience in management consulting or internal strategy teams, preferably within the technology or telecommunications industries.
- Strong critical thinking skills, ability to structure problems, form hypotheses, and conduct data-driven analysis with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience in planning and executing projects, with a strong understanding of financial implications in decision-making.
- Outstanding presentation skills, proficiency in PowerPoint, and the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.
